Ok. a little bit about me, I am a twenty something gal who enjoys the simpler things in life. Currently I work at three different jobs that pay me three different wages. My longest job of almost 10 months is that of a planetarium projectionist, I work for the local science museum running different stars hows and mega dome films. It sounds cool but when you get down to the very nuts and bolts of it, I just don't really like this job. It is by far the easiest of my three jobs but sometimes also the most stressful. The planetarium itself is nearly 30 years old and needs updating so being the only one who runs the planetarium its hectic when things go wrong and I was supposed to let the next group in for a show and its now ten minutes past that time and people are banging on the doors trying to hustle their way in- I feel like pulling my hair out, and sometimes theirs. But other than the constant worry of something breaking down its also my loneliest job too. I usually will sit for an hours at a time twiddling my thumbs till waiting for the next show to start. So to say the long and short of it is that I don't enjoy my time in the planetarium.
My second job is at a local restaurant as a cashier. I enjoy this job for the most part but feel rather insure about it. I was originally hired on to become a waitress, but they had recently hired on to many people and I got he bottom of the barrel minimum wage, as the waitresses like to call it servers bitch/cashier, where they tell me what to get and I got get it. But its something I've never done before and thus far I like it, but I don't see myself in this line of work forever.
My last job is working a gardener. Now Im going to use the term "Gardner" loosely because really what I do is pull weeds. I do this job 9 to 12 hours a week and this is my highest paying job. This job also like the planetarium gig is mostly solo by my self work, but unlike the planetarium I am outside which I like. I also like the fact when I go home im tired but accomplished in my goal to work as hard as possible.
Well there you have it, and if you have read all the way through and got to this point I congratulate you and thank you for reading my thoughts, feel free to comment on whatever caught your attention.--
